About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Air Reserve Technician (ART) and provide medical standards guidance, policy interpretation and application to Wing Commander, Medical Squadron Commander, unit health care professionals and unit medical support staffs with the Reserve Medical Unit (RMU) and to Squadron commanders throughout the installation. DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, implements medical standards activities for the SGP, as well as providing consultative services on all medical standard issues, medical standards training, deployment processing, and other Aerospace Medicine Standards related topics, as required. DUTY 2: Performs administrative quality reviews of Duty Limiting Conditions (DLC), physical examinations, profiles, and appropriate clearances before these documents are forwarded to Squadron/Wing level offices.
