About the role
You will provide engineering and technical support for Naval Installations who are constructing or modifying facilities. You will provide expert management advice to the command and provides guidance to installations/operating units, addresses conflicts, and is sought out by others for technical and advice and assistance. You will develop Navy-wide policy relative to area of expertise, provides planning assistance in design standards to Naval installations for future large MILCON, BRACON, or Congressional mandated projects You will collaborate with others on all phases of planning, designing, and constructing a project. You will investigate and analyze when directed by NOSSA Command, accidents, equipment malfunctions, and program deficiencies to determine circumstances and causes. You will serve as a technical consultant in the formulation and implementation of conventional explosives, safety criteria and policies ashore.
