NUCLEAR ENGINEER

You will prepare, review and approval Technical Work Documents (TWD) in support of reactor plant procedures for technical content, radiological control, administrative content, and ensuring compliance with NAVSEA technical and safety requirements. You will maintain close liaison with production personnel and resolving technical problems identified during the production phase of a job. You will be responsible for ensuring technical subordinates meet their organizational goals objectives in a mentoring capacity. You will distribute and balance the workload among employees. You will instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques, giving on the job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices. You will develop and execute action plans to resolve complex problems in your area of responsibility which involve a variety of customers, the Ship, other departments, and various levels of Command personnel.
