About the role
The Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, is responsible for executive oversight of integrated certification initiatives at the airplane level, based on product safety and organizational system performance. The Director leads strategic initiatives for integrated product teams on type certification and continued operational safety for products at the top of the safety continuum. The Director leads and develops Aircraft Certification Service-wide mission strategies to integrate large air carrier activities and the personnel who perform the accompanying functions, and to ensure consistent application between domestic and foreign applicants. The Director oversees and administers an annual budget of approximately $66M and provides day-to-day direction to a staff of approximately 250 employees, including direct supervision over two L-band deputy directors.
