Supervisory IT Specialist (Deputy Director)

Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Oversees the planning and delivery of customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements. Develops ITD specific policies, procedures, directives and performance standards as directed. Directs the strategic research, analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise structural framework. Performs reviews and evaluations of information technology processes and procedures to support the planning, design, and implementation of new or improved technology systems to meet business needs.
