About the role
Leads a team of GS-13 HR Specialists by communicating goals, assigning and balancing workload, monitoring progress, coaching team members, and ensuring quality and timely completion of work. Serves as project lead or manager for complex reimbursable HR projects involving position management, classification, organization design, workforce planning, restructuring, and related HR lifecycle services. Manages project scope, milestones, costs, resources, deliverables, quality assurance, and customer requirements for nationwide, high-visibility, or technically complex projects. Performs expert position classification services for complex, controversial, senior-level, or grievance-related positions, including coordination with OPM policy officials on sensitive cases. Evaluates customer organizational structures and advises executive leadership on position management, work distribution, supervisory relationships, and organization design improvements.
