Registered Nurse - Quality Management Nurse Consultant

The Registered Nurse - Quality Management Nurse Consultant duties include but are not limited to: Responsibility for the daily management of accreditation and compliance activities for the Medical Center and all off-site locations as assigned. Collects data, monitors staff compliance with VHA Directives, local and VISN policies and accreditation standards, provides reports detailing compliance trends, and provides direct staff support to all services in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and administering, a comprehensive quality program. Reporting to local, state and national health departments, as required by law, following VHA guidelines. Participates in a number of facility Councils, Committees, and workgroups and is involved with Surgical Service and associated areas. Serves as the primary point of contact for the accreditation and compliance program and executes responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management
