About the role
Coordinate with functional and program management teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating a complex program involving fire alarm and detection, suppression, and smoke control systems for DOS diplomatic posts and ancillary facilities. Assess environmental, labor conditions, and technology availability to determine if a system is maintainable in a foreign environment where the technology may not be known or commonly practiced. Provide technical assistance on projects with planning, organizing, and administering surveys and acceptance inspections at U.S. foreign missions throughout the world, for the purpose of designing and/or replacing fire protection systems. Develop and process Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for design and installation services of fire protection systems and manage these contracts as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
