Attorney-Adviser (General)

Serves as Associate Deputy General Counsel (Operations and Personnel). Advises Army Secretariat, Army Staff, and other Army officials concerning a wide variety of legal issues arising from the operation of the Army, with particular emphasis on the administration of the Army as an Executive Branch agency. Represents the Army's legal and policy position to top level officials within the Department of the Army, DoD, the Executive Branch, and Congress. Participates in the formulation of policies and program initiatives that are of Army-wide and national significance. Reviews, researches and provides opinions on a wide variety of complex policy and legal matters of national importance. Represents the Deputy General Counsel (Operations and Personnel) in negotiations with respect to subject matter areas of responsibility.
