About the role

Serves as a key military liaison and advisor to the J1 Director, providing guidance on military personnel, administrative support, and human resources management. Analyzes proposed changes to organizational structure and mission. Advises leadership on manpower impacts, providing insights, alternatives, and recommendations. Prepares and delivers briefings for the J1 Director on military personnel policy recommendations. Collects, analyzes, and evaluates data for senior-level decisions. Advises on manpower and position management policy, including high-grade controls and leader ratios. Recommends military personnel changes to the Joint Table of Distribution. Conducts high-priority special projects for the J1 Director. Provides customer service, explains policy, and ensures confidentiality on all military personnel actions.
