About the role
Summary The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the School Age Care program. To plan, develop, organize, and oversee the long-range and day-to-day operation of a comprehensive school-age child care program consisting of such activities as before and after school care, full day care/camp, and school holiday care/camp for youth 5-12 years of age. Duties Develops, coordinates, and implements activities, programs, and special events, consistent with program objectives and in accordance with health, safety, and security standards for the School Age Care program. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the School Age Care program ensuring that the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
