Supervisory Civil Engineer

Direct the development of civil engineering, design, construction, and maintenance criteria and standards, procedures manuals, design guides, and standard drawings for new capital and major non-capital program projects. Manage the design of projects characterized by constantly, and sometimes greatly, changing physical environment or other similar variables and unknowns affecting planning and design criteria and critical problems with respect to costs and economics. Initiate or participate in review and improvement of work methods, organizational features, and the structuring of positions to achieve optimum efficiency. Represent OBO on government and non-government committees associated with federal government design and construction program and projects. Ensure the technical adequacy and quality of all design civil/structural engineering functions for all capital and non-capital projects.
