Terms of Service

PiNC is a map-first job discovery tool. These terms cover how the service works, what you can do with it, and what you can expect from us. Short version: use it for finding jobs, don't abuse it, and treat the job listings as pointers — the source of truth is always the employer's site.

The service

PiNC aggregates publicly available job postings from a mix of partner APIs and open feeds, places them on an interactive map, and optionally ranks them against your saved preferences. We do not post the jobs ourselves, we do not mediate applications, and we are not a party to any employment relationship.

Accounts

  • You may use PiNC without an account. Some features (saved jobs, resume matching, application tracking) require signing in via Clerk.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put into your profile. Don't impersonate anyone else.
  • You can delete your account — and all the data attached to it — at any time from the privacy page.

Acceptable use

  • Don't scrape the site or hammer the APIs. If you want bulk access, email us first.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, deanonymize, or reconstruct any data that isn't already public in the listings.
  • Don't upload resumes or content you don't own, and don't upload anything that would violate someone else's privacy or copyright.
  • Don't use PiNC to harvest contact information for bulk outreach.

Job listings

Listings are provided as-is from upstream sources. Salaries, titles, locations, and posting freshness reflect what those sources publish and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always verify with the employer's posting directly before taking action. The AI assistant exists to help you think about a listing, not to give legal, financial, or career advice.

Intellectual property

The PiNC brand, UI, and original content are ours. Job listings belong to the employers or upstream sources that publish them; we present them under the terms of the respective APIs and feeds. Jobs sourced from CareerOneStop (NLX) are displayed alongside the CareerOneStop attribution required by their program.

Disclaimers

PiNC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee that any particular job will be open when you apply, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that the commute and match estimates are accurate. Map routing and commute time are approximations — the source of truth for any decision is always the underlying employer and the actual routing service you use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PiNC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Changes

We'll update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of PiNC after a change constitutes acceptance.
