Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

Provide practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions. Perform tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion. Initiate and maintain medical histories on patients, records observations, and identifies symptoms for use by the clinician. Report significant findings to the supervising nurse or physician. Perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care. Conduct focused nursing assessments and contributes to the care plan. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of care provided and ensures adherence to established protocols. Communicate with patients and families to ensure they are informed about care plans and progress.
