MARINE SURVEYOR

Serve as a Senior Engineering Technician Expert for the USACE Marine Design Center (MDC) Mandatory Center of Expertise (MCX) in support of new-build and/or alteration or repair of dredges at various shipyard field sites within the United States. Provide expert consulting services relating to all aspects of dredge vessels. Provide expert-level mentoring and advice to other lower graded engineering technicians, technical managers, and project managers. Apply and coordinate technical guidance through the Engineering Design Division as part of the Mandatory Center of Expertise’s established design quality management system. Serve as Marine Design Center’s principal representative for construction quality assurance and tests and trials on new dredge vessels and for major dredge retrofits of existing significant dredge vessels within the United States.
