INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

You will develop instructions and guidelines for the applicable Navy environmental programs in your area of responsibility. You will issue directives, correspondence and messages to ensure that field activities are aware of the latest regulations, standards, criteria, and requirements that impact applicable environmental programs. You will develop Navy actions and guidelines on pollution control matters and problems in coordination with Federal, State, local, and/or foreign environmental controls officials. You will identify program requirements and document the requirements to develop, plan, program, and budget submittals. You will plan, coordinate, and conduct environmental compliance surveys and audits of activities and their operations to investigate compliance with applicable standards. You will participate in audit team visits to identify all environmental deficiencies and assist the activity in identifying corrective measures and projects for eliminating the deficiencies. You wi
