Mechanical Engineer

You will serve as a/an Mechanical Engineer and be responsible for serving as a senior Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer and technical specialist responsible for procuring, coordinating and managing the design and construction related services provided by Architectural/Engineering firms. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Coordinating project planning and team resources for multi-phase projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget. Reviewing and distribute project assignments among in-house teams to optimize resource allocation and project progress. Monitoring and evaluating contractor and agency resource allocation for assigned projects to report findings and recommend improvements to management. Developing and reviewing mechanical engineering designs and scopes for large, complex projects to advance state-of-the-art solutions and resolve technical challenges. Consulting with management an
