About the role
You will serve as a Human Resource Assistant and be responsible for the intake, maintenance, processing, verification, and scanning of employment records related to Official Personnel Folders (OPF) for the USCG, Office of Civilian Personnel. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Researching documents, and resolving assigned FHR. Performing quality assurance reviews on eOPF records; ensuring mistakes are corrected and providing guidance and alternative solutions to problems that arise. Making determinations on actions that are improperly documented or are. Maintaining and processing files by using scanners to process, scan and convert forms into electronic format and into digital database (eOPF). Retrieving appropriate records from HR database Working with both active and inactive eOPFs to ensure that required documents are accounted for and are properly documented.
