About the role
Duties include, but are not limited to: Install, maintain, repair and inspect all varieties of plumbing and gas piping systems and mechanical equipment used in the facility. Periodically inspect piping, valves, control fittings and auxiliary equipment of steam plant, gas fired equipment and steam, gas and water distribution systems for defects. Make rough sketches or prints of newly installed equipment to be delivered to the Pipe and Metal Supervisor for the purpose of updating the Master piping and plumbing blueprints. Erect or suspend scaffolding in the performance of duties and is responsible for the proper care and maintenance of his tools and equipment. Insure all tools and equipment are properly functioning and are safe for use. Construct necessary dust barriers and/or block-off areas as needed for the safety and protection of patients, staff, visitors and equipment. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 3:00 pm-11:30 pm, 11:00 pm -
