About the role
You will serve as the expert authority in the field of cybersecure machinery control, ship control, steering control, damage control, HM and E networks and condition monitoring systems You will provide expert scientific advice, guidance and managerial direction for cybersecure controls, automation, and networks RDT and E, Fleet modernization, technology deployment, sustainment and cross organizational technical programs. You will manage and oversee complex multi-disciplinary research and development on cybersecure HM and E control system and network programs and assignments for future investments. You will serve as the principal technical expert on all R and D work that is currently being conducted within the Cybersecure Machinery Control Systems and Networks Department. You will coordinate and integrate technical efforts with requirements and potential solutions with the experts in the Division, other government agencies, the fleet, PAE, NAVSEA, ONR, industry and academia.
