DISTINGUISHED ENGINEER FOR CHIEF ENGINEER

You will be responsible for ensuring all technical activities related to the NSWCPD mission are conducted with sound engineering practices and with proper controls and management for surface ship, carrier, submarine and vehicle machinery systems. You will serve as an advocate for NSWCPD engineering interests at PAEs, NAVSEA and across the Warfare Centers for all NSWCPD's project/product reviews to ensure alignment with technical authority. You will be responsible for oversight and technical guidance for the management of the NSWCPD SUBSAFE Program as well as coordinate with the Quality Manager on assuring the quality of our technical products and engineering processes. You will provide authoritative technical advice to NSWCPD Technical Director in addition to formulating and communicating Command technical priorities and strategies to include common approaches for risk assessment, analysis and reporting of status.
