About the role
As a GS-13 Supervisory Wage and Hour Specialist, duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following: Assisting the Director of enforcement in coordinating the development of integrated plans, local policies, guidelines, systems, and procedures for Wage and Hour enforcement program activities in the region. Evaluates the overall impact and effectiveness of assigned Wage and Hour enforcement programs in the region in meeting the needs of national program goals. Evaluating the appropriateness of cases for litigation, or administrative hearing action, evaluates all aspects of the case, ensures that all findings are supported by testimony and other exhibit material, and determines whether further investment of WHD and SOL. As the Deputy Director of Enforcement, serves as the focal point to identify and resolve Wage and Hour District Offices enforcement issues in the programmatic, technical, and procedural areas.
