About the role
Duties may include, but are not limited to: Serves as the principal administrative advisor to the Chief, Surgical Care Service, with responsibility for the overall planning, direction, coordination, and evaluation of administrative programs supporting a large and complex clinical service. Provide authoritative guidance to management officials on a wide range of administrative matters, including human resources management, financial management, contracting and procurement, logistics, and program operations. Integrates and aligns administrative functions to support clinical program objectives, ensuring effective utilization of personnel, space, equipment, and financial resources. Represents the Service in meetings, committees, and interactions with internal and external stakeholders and serves as a key member of the Service leadership team, influencing decisions that impact overall program direction, performance, and resource management.
