About the role
You will verify repairs and structural soundness of aircraft through blueprints and sketches. You will operate hand or power machines (e.g., sliproll forming machines, box or pan brakes, shears, rotary machines with extra forming rolls, crimpers, beading machines) to accomplish maintenance or repair tasks. You will disassemble, modify, repair, and assemble structural parts and aerodynamic surfaces on aircraft and aircraft components. You will calculate and scribe patterns for the fabrication of metal parts to be used in conjunction with industrial equipment and components.
