HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

You will provide personnel clerical services and technical support in a variety of personnel areas including responsibility for coordinating actions for processing by the Human Resource Services Center. You will review and coordinate all personnel actions such as appointments, change in status, transfers, separations and promotions. You will check Requests for Personnel Actions for appropriate authorization and contact persons as necessary to obtain data to complete personnel records. You will maintain in-depth subject matter knowledge concerning processing and reviewing personnel actions. You will apply classification standards to positions in a variety of lower level clerical and technical occupations. You will serve in all facets of HR. (Labor and Employee Relations, Staffing, Classification, and Training).
