Supervisory Die Manufacturing Specialist

As a Supervisory Die Manufacturing Specialist, you will: Plan and coordinate production schedules to utilize the productive capacity and facilities of the division. Coordinate customer priorities, and needs and modify production and delivery schedules, accordingly for all U.S. Mints. Develop standards for equipment, material and workflow and plans for expansion of operations or adapt new operations for special needs. Evaluate the adequacy of processes and equipment in use for the manufacture of dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures and direct the development of improvements. The incumbent has the final technical authority on purchase of new tools and equipment. Establish and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program for all dies, tooling, and other materials manufactured or used by the division.
