IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH)

As the lead architect for DoD ESInet, this rile determines the system architecture based on operational needs. Develops technical solutions using NENA i3 and other relevant national standards. Architects the Next Generation 911 (NG911) location services, defining requirements for the core components (e.g. Location Information Server, (LIS), Location Validation Function (LVF), and Geographic Information System (GIS) data sources. Architects the DoD-Emergency Services IP Network (D-ESInet) end-to-end security posture using Zero Trust principles. Governs the architecture for legacy network gateways to ensure a seamless transition to an all-internet protocol (IP) environment.
