Inspector General

Major Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides information and advisory support to the Director and Deputy Director on problems, deficiencies, corrective actions, and matters involving audits, investigations, inspections, fraud, waste, and abuse. Serves as the Agency's senior point of contact for audit follow-up activities, including tracking recommendations from GAO, DoW IG, and internal sources, preparing quarterly reports, and highlighting areas of disagreement or delayed responses for awareness. Initiates, conducts and supports audits, investigations, evaluations, and organizational assessments across DISA programs and operations in accordance with applicable professional standards (PCIE, GAGAS, GAO, and DoW IG). Acts as the principal expert and advisor to the Director and Deputy Director on all matters covered by the Inspector General Act of 1978, including the prevention and detection of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
