About the role
You will coordinate funeral honors with a casualty assistance team, funeral honors program members, funeral or cemetery director, next of kin, and other interested parties. You will verify the eligibility of the veteran to receive military funeral honors using an automated systems, DD-214's, Veteran's Affairs documents, or other proof of honorable military service. You will research applicable rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements to provide accurate information to customers. You will orally articulate instructions to execute processes or procedures.
