Materials Handler

The duties may include, but are not limited to: Works independently in a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, handling, and issuing supplies, materials and equipment. Routes and expedites movement of parts, supplies and materials using mechanized, automated, and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems. Performs assignments covered by detailed procedures, such as unloading, visually inspecting, rotating stocks in accordance with standardized operating instructions. Receives and marks incoming stock in accordance with standard operation instructions and completes forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue and labeling requirements for materials. Ensures the special requirements are met in the storing, monitoring, packaging, and shipping of temperature sensitive products.
