Supervisory General Engineer, AST, Experimental Facilities Techniques

Assists the Branch Chief in strategic planning, mission execution, workforce management, and overall branch leadership. Helps develop long-term capability strategies, workforce planning, and technology investments. Performs a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees. Oversees day-to-day operations of ground test facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient test execution that meets project requirements. Provides technical leadership for test planning, configuration control, test readiness activities, and operational decision-making. Coordinates across engineering, safety, quality, research, facility operations, and project management organizations to align priorities and resolve issues. Ensures compliance with NASA safety and mission assurance requirements, institutional policies, and configuration and risk-management processes
