General Engineer, AST, Experimental Facility Development (Direct Hire)

Serves as the Lab Manager performing discipline specific duties including but not limited to, executing tests, training test engineers, generating and maintaining documentation, and overseeing day to day operations. Delivers quality and timely support that meets customer expectations. Reports directly to the Division Chief. Demonstrates skill in oral and written communication to logically and effectively explain issues related to all lab activities. Exercises independent engineering management and judgment to secure achievement of test goals and objectives. Provides leadership to coordinate and integrate the planning, programming, development, oversight, scheduling, and overall management of laboratory resources. Plans, coordinates, and manages the work of subordinate, secondary, and matrixed resources engaged in accomplishing the mission of the organization.
