About the role
The duties may include, but are not limited to: Plans the use of Insect Production Workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools on a day-to-day or project-by-project basis. Observes work in progress to anticipate and resolve problems, reassigns personnel within groups as necessary and coordinates work among workers to maintain work progress and meet schedules. Supervises and assists in operations connected with the maintenance of one or multiple colonies kept at the facility at all times and operations connected with expansion into mass production. Maintains a large colony of insects for the purpose of providing eggs, larvae, and pupae for the rearing facility and cooperators, and assists in the day-to-day operations of the facility. Closely monitors the life cycle and health of insects and the environmental conditions in the larval development and pupal harvest.
