About the role
You will provide Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA), waterfront/deck-plate engineering, technical, logistics, management and coordination assistance and services for Submarine communications antenna and antenna systems. You will conduct system/equipment operational and maintenance training. You will provide alteration installation team (AIT) support including dock-side, at-sea, pre/post modernization/ installation testing and shipboard technical and logistics support during system/equipment modernization installations. You will provide engineering technical assistance in troubleshooting and fault isolation, pre/post availability inspections and grooms, work packages and technical work document review. You will create and develop plans and procedures for isolation and resolution of complex intermittent shipboard system problems. You will provide technical over-sight, consultation, and over-the-shoulder maintenance training; and FTA data collection and reporting services.
