About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART), performs a variety of preliminary and immediate control tasks in regard to the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft propulsion units to include engines and their subsystems, associate Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), and auxiliary power units via weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and plans. Trains reservists in the accomplishments of tasks set forth herein. DUTIES: DUTY 1: Develops maintenance plans and control tasks in regard to the maintenance and repair of aircraft proplusion units including engines, their subsystems, and associated Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE)and Auxiliary Power Units (APU). DUTY 2: Functions as the Engine Tracking/Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) Data Base Monitor. DUTY 3: Develops and recommends local engine management policy and procedures on applicable Technical Order and AFI guidance. DUTY 4: Processes all engine download data from supplied software
