About the role
The primary purpose of this position is: An Air Reserve Technician (ART) providing direct support to the Senior ART by accomplishing a variety of duties relating to program management activities for all aspects of medical readiness administration. Functions as the Unit Deployment Manager; ensures assigned personnel are qualified to meet Air Expeditionary Force requirements and deployment readiness standards. Additionally, provides training to reserve personnel in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Duties: 1. Develops, plans and conducts training and evaluations needed to assess squadron readiness, mobility, and deployment requirements. 2. Plans, organizes, and oversees all unit level deployment activities. 3. Performs analysis activities. Performs STR administrative duties for the organization 4. Provides technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding unit deployment program. 5. Ensures personnel and equipment readiness.
