Industrial Property Management Specialist

Plans and implements the total property management system for assigned contractors and continuously surveils/evaluates their property control systems. Appropriately dispositions inventory reported by contractors as excess upon completion, termination, issuance of change orders, or when property is otherwise determined to be excess. Investigates assigned contractors' liability when government property is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, or when there is evidence of unreasonable use or consumption. Reviews and analyzes new contracts to determine whether the correct property clauses have been included. Provides technical advice to lower-graded Industrial Property Management Specialists (IPMSs.) In some cases, reviews and approves their work. Serves as Plant Clearance Officer.
