Industrial Specialist (General)

Schedule/Manufacturing and Delivery Surveillance, and Physical Progress and Performance Based Payment Reviews. Performs contract review to identify contractual technical requirements and develop required tasks for the execution of the surveillance plans. Identifies frequency and intensity of production surveillance required to perform on assigned contracts. The incumbent develops surveillance plan(s) as a result of the contractor risk assessment and/or guidance provided in agency policy, resource documents or procedures. Assesses and oversees contractor capability to produce and deliver products, services and systems to contract schedule and within cost. Promptly notifies buying activities of potential or actual schedule delays and their causes. Provides concise and definite recommendations. Actively defines strategies to improve contractor on-time delivery performance. Uses written Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to notify the suppliers of contracts non-conformances. Reviews cost pr
