About the role
As a Chemist, you will: Perform a variety of chemical and clinical analyses of biologic (human) samples for a variety of analytes. Carry out activities to determine public health laboratory research and/or service requirements. Identify and quantifying biomarkers of exposure or their metabolites, their stability and measuring requirements, sampling procedures, dose-response calibrators, equipment needs, quality control techniques. Conduct applied research toward development, characterization and validation of laboratory method(s) for the selected analytes. Routine monitoring the stability, precision and validity of laboratory methods by applying sound scientific techniques that adhere to Division guidelines and policies.
