About the role
Maintain patency of artificial airways including suctioning. Establish invasive intravenous lines and safely administers medications that promote sedation of the patients. Monitor post-procedure recovery of patients and determine readiness to be transferred to the ward or Intensive Care Units. Assess needs of cardiology patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.
