Dental Laboratory Technician

Serve as laboratory technician in a dental clinic. Perform the full range of technical work in the fabrication and repair of fixed prostheses and models. Read, interpret, and apply requirements described in the dental prescription, designs and fabricates metal substructures for both porcelain and acrylic veneers. Design and fabricate Flexible Removable Partials and Implant Retain acrylic dentures. Prepare orthodontic set ups and fabricates other appliances such as night guards, splints, stents, sleep apnea devices, and tooth position devices. Provide technical assistance, monitor work assignments, and inspect completed work to dental laboratory staff.
