Industrial Property Management Specialist (Deployable)

Responsible for planning and implementing the total property management program for the assigned contractors and for the continuous surveillance/evaluation of the assigned contractors' property control systems. Identifies risk to the Government through application of professional business judgment and risk-based assessment techniques in order to determine the appropriate type and level of surveillance. Determines appropriate method for the testing of each property control function and conducts property control system analyses accordingly. Conducts investigations pertaining to assigned contractors' liability when Government property is lost, damaged or destroyed, or when there is evidence of unreasonable use of consumption Reviews and analyzes new contracts to determine and ensure that the assigned contractors' property control systems and procedures are adequate to fulfill the contractual requirements.
