Electrical Engineer

Responsible for developing electrical designs; performing technical reviews of electrical designs developed by Architectural-Engineering firms (A-E), and resolving electrical design related problems arising during construction. Visits construction sites to observe conditions impacting the design and to identify solutions to design technical problems involving electrical systems and equipment which arise during construction. Assists supervisor with planning, organizing, and monitoring the work carried out alone and/or with section personnel. Reviews and analyzes initial project information; participates in pre-design and review conferences for large, complex or unconventional, as well as conventional, Military and Civil Works projects assigned. Performs technical review of the electrical engineering aspects of design packages developed by Architectural-Engineering (A-E) firms consisting of drawings, specifications and design analysis.
