Analyzes contractor proposals for fairness and completeness. Prepares government cost estimates for change orders and modifications by using established cost estimating software and data. Assists in developing technical analyses and pre-negotiation objectives by comparing contractor proposals to government estimates and identifying discrepancies. Participates in negotiations with contractor personnel on contract modifications. Researches and analyzes contractor claims to determine their relationship to contract requirements and assists in preparing the government's position on claims. Manages the input of contract modifications into the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) and the Resident Management System (RMS), ensuring information is current and accurate.
