About the role
You will plan the use of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and other resources to accomplish work operations. You will track and monitor all work in assigned areas, looking for cost overruns, inefficiency, incorrect workload standards, training, deficiencies, support deficiencies, etc. You will take steps to resolve problems by determining the cause, finding solutions and taking corrective action. You will observe work in progress to ensure on time completion and verify the quality going into the product. You will maintain administrative records for employees to include time and attendance, man hours expended and labor attestations. You will participate in the hiring or promotion process of candidates by serving as a rating panel member or serving as an EEO representative. You will accomplish other duties assigned. You will assign work to subordinates and shop artisans, verbally or in writing or through subordinate leaders, indicating methods and equipment to be used.
