General Supply Specialist

If selected, duties performed at the GS-09 level will be at a developmental capacity. Participates in the formulation of plans, coordination of operational activities, and development of budgetary requirements. Performs special projects involving receipt, storage, safeguarding, movement, and shipment of materials. Complete quality assurance projects for procurement, storage, sales and upgrading of various different commodities: metals minerals, ores, concentrates, rubber and miscellaneous items produced domestically and in foreign countries. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of specific health, safety and training programs. Operates materials handling equipment to receive, store and ship bulk and packaged organization managed commodities and supplies and maintain the facilities of the operations.
