About the role

Screens solicitations for proper format and checks for any inconsistencies and provides legalsufficiency comments to action attorney or directly to project manager or contracting personnel. Independently researches and analyzes specific factualand legal questions which present a variety of issues, including new and complex areas. Performs litigation support for complex litigation cases and reviews claims, complaints and researches relevant legal principles. Conducts investigations, interviews witnesses, and prepares litigation reports,labor standard enforcement reports and compiles complex and voluminous Government Briefs andRule 4 Files. Responsible for processing Tort Claims and responsible for discretionary activity in analyzing and evaluating tort actions filed against the Unites States and arising under the Federal Tort Claims Act and AR 27-20.
