SUPERVISORY CIVIL ENGINEER

Plans, coordinates, and directs through 4 subordinate sections (supervisors) the implementation of the functional responsibilities of Engineering Branch. Allocates resources among the Branch. Makes major recommendations in using automation and other processes, including CADD, EMS and AI to reduce operating costs. Communicates with personnel in other District elements, SPD, HQUSACE, personnel of other Districts and Divisions, local sponsors, installation users, major command personnel, and A-E contractor personnel. Exercises delegated personnel management authority personally and through subordinate supervisors to plan for future workload, meet emergency requirements and achieve optimum organization simplicity and economy of operations. Ensures development of performance standards and timely evaluation of performance as well as assuring adequacy of training resources available for subordinate employees. Responsible for planning, supervising, directing, coordinating and reviewing the des
