INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT

Responsible for thorough implementation of the government Quality Assurance program. Ascertains the effectiveness of contractor's quality control systems, including attendance at preparatory, initial and follow up inspections. Reviews and manages design submittals, performing reviews and coordinating with customers. Performs construction tasks for the District's environmntal and civil works projects. Obtains timely and cost effective projects through contract administration in accordance with contract requirements. Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted by contractors, installation personnel and using agencies for changes to plans. Maintains familiarity with contract requirements and monitor funds available.
