About the role
Plans, organizes, and oversees SAF/IG policy development and updates. Responsible e for USAF Inspector General policy for complaints resolution. Codifies policy by development, revision, and oversight of AFPD 90-3, Inspector General- Complaints Resolution Program, and AFI 90-301, Inspector General Complaint; Resolution. Manages all aspects of the Automated Case Tacking System (ACTS) program. Responsible for identifying necessary hardware/software modifications to ensure ACTS performs optimally and delivers accurate statistics and case info1naiion to SAF/IG decision makers. Integrates SAF/IG policy development/updates into support functions vital to achievement of organizations goals/objectives. Provides input to directorate's budgetary decision-making on non-routine and/or costly training requirements fer subordinates, equipment purchases, ACTS program upgrades, and potential contracts.
